About
From database rooms to decision systems
I started as a software developer and spent the following decades across system administration, database administration and, later, leading IT for a large operating division. That path taught me what enterprise technology looks like from every side: the code, the servers, the data, the procurement file and the people who have to use it on Monday morning.
Today my focus is applied AI: language models, retrieval and agents, built with the controls a regulated organisation needs. I care less about demos and more about systems that survive audit, scale beyond the pilot and actually change how decisions get made.

In progressRetrieval-augmented question answering over internal documents, running entirely on a local GPU workstation with open-weight models, so sensitive data never leaves the building.
